The experience
Abhinay Jain’s LinkedIn post and comments describe a six-month babysitter plan and an ₹8,000 advance. Jain says sales staff represented that domestic workers were police-verified and that he could receive a full refund if he did not find a suitable provider. He says he requested local police verification in Noida and was told Broomees could not provide it in Uttar Pradesh, so he would need to arrange and pay for it himself.
Jain says the company refused his refund request, contested his credit-card chargeback on the basis that service had been provided, and that he ultimately stopped pursuing the ₹8,000. He also says he later received a ₹14,000 renewal invoice despite believing he had not used the service. The post was displayed as “11mo” when collected. His statements about verification and refund promises remain Jain’s account.
Separate customer-call account: Kunal Anand
The additional case notes describe Kunal Anand’s temporary nanny booking in Bengaluru, with an experience date of 9 May 2025. Anand says they expected a punctual start, the listed skills and timely coordinator follow-up. Anand reports that the assigned worker changed at short notice and that the replacement had not received the same instructions.
The chronology begins with a requirements discussion and booking request on 7 May 2025. The assignment and service window were confirmed on 8 May. The first scheduled service took place on 9 May, and Anand recorded the concern. On 10 May, Anand contacted support and requested a remedy. The notes list the profile shared before booking, a support-ticket transcript and a bank-transfer reference as supporting material. The response proposed a service credit while the coordinator checked the attendance record.
Anand reports receiving a partial refund after several support contacts. The outcome was last checked on 28 June 2025. The account was posted on 22 July and updated on 29 July 2025, adding the company response while leaving the earlier service description unchanged. The notes relate it to another account about replacement timing and a separate note on billing explanations.
