Anonymous Reddit commenter describes repeated missed start dates

An anonymous commenter says workers repeatedly promised to start the next day but did not appear. After about ten days, a replacement reportedly followed the same pattern, after which the commenter says more money was requested to continue. The commenter says recordings and emails exist.

Tanmay Anand’s appended account concerns a weekday home cook booking in Kolkata on 13 January 2023. Anand expected the agreed duty list, transparent charges and a backup arrangement. The assigned worker changed at short notice, and Anand says the replacement had not received the same instructions.

The requirement discussion and booking request were on 11 January; the assignment and start window were confirmed on 12 January. Anand contacted support on 14 January for a remedy.
