Poorna Veturi: nanny refund after relocation

Poorna Veturi says relocation prevented a nanny search after payment; a refund request was followed by 12 days without a refund or call.

Poorna Veturi’s account

Poorna Veturi says they paid Broomees on November 1, 2025 for nanny services, then could not initiate the search because of relocation. They say they requested a refund on November 3 and, 12 days later, had received neither a refund nor a call. Veturi says emails to the company’s co-founders went unanswered. The post surfaced in Neeraj Garg’s public LinkedIn activity, where he had reacted to it.

Separate account: Kunal Bedi

Kunal Bedi describes a newborn-care helper booking in Noida on 2024-12-14. Kunal says they expected a pre-service briefing, written pricing and continuity across shifts. They say service began as booked but the scheduled follow-up visit was missed without advance notice.

Their timeline records the booking request on December 12, assignment and start-window confirmation on December 13, the first service and concern on December 14, and support contact and remedy request on December 15.

The source lists a work schedule, payment confirmation and escalation email.

A coordinator offered to rearrange the next visit but did not address every point. Kunal says a credit was discussed while their original payment question remained open.

Kunal Bedi’s account was last checked on 2025-02-09. The account was posted on February 19, 2025; updated February 25, 2025. An update added the replacement offer and retained the original account of the first visit. The supplied notes cite a nearby-area report about a missed follow-up visit and disputed cancellation charge.
